Lighting Design –

Gym Lighting

We were contacted to by a client and asked to come up with a lighting design for a new gym. The client wanted the lighting to be suspended and industrial in look. They also wanted some feature, purple lighting to be integrated into the design as this is the brand colour.

We designed the main lighting for the gym using a continuous suspended LED luminaire with up and down light elements. We also used integrated emergency modules to achieve the required emergency lighting coverage. The up light element of the luminaires gave off a purple glow whilst the down light element gave a traditional 4000k to achieve a nice bright working environment.

Between the continuous runs we designed 3 runs of steel cable tray to keep with the industrial theme that the client wanted, within this, we allowed for downlights to be installed which give off a purple light. The finished result is excellent and achieved everything that the client was looking for.
